Eleanor Ryan is a printmaker and comic artist from New York City. She co-founded and acts as treasurer for BSAC, a local artist collective.

She has her Bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College where she learned the fundamentals of silkscreen, relief, and color theory. She also studied Japanese history, specifically of aesthetics and gravitated towards the wonderful repetitive patterns of wagara which can be found as a repeated theme in her work.
